Studio Terms & Policies

It is mutually agreed that the following terms and conditions form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless accepted in writing by Lazy Cat Studio ( also called “the Studio / the Photographer / Photographers“). By booking and paying the Studio for your portrait session and/or agreeing to have you or your pet’s photo taken by the studio, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below.

The term “Studio” refers to all photographers and employees of Lazy Cat Studio (NEKOMORI PTE LTD) and the business as an entity. The term “Client” refers to the client and all other individuals engaging the Studio for the provision of Services and the term “Pet” refers to an animal(s) owned by the Client that is brought to the Studio. The term “Services” refers to any photography or videography services that the Studio is contracted to provide.

Reschedule Policy

The Client may reschedule either the session date one (1) time for no additional fee, provided that they contact the Studio at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests for the provision of Services should be initiated by the Client and received by the Studio no later than 48 hours to the session. Payment made is non-refundable. The Studio shall have the right to reschedule the Client and Pet to another suitable session in the event of unavailability.

The Studio shall have the right to cancel the session at any time by refunding the deposit in full to the Client at any time before the session is conducted and shall have no further liability to the Client.

Payment Terms

Payment for the provision of Services shall be made in full at the time of booking via the Studio’s website or in-person at the Studio prior to Services beginning.

Copyright Policy

All photographs taken remain the property of the Studio. The Client may reproduce photographs taken by the Studio for personal, non-commercial use only.

The Studio may display and use the photographs taken for purposes thought proper by the Studio for the marketing of its business and services. The Client releases the Studio and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs unless the Client has made a request for privacy prior to the Shoot by writing, in which case the Studio may not use such photos of the Client for publicity, promotion or, presentation purposes.

No Personal Camera Policy

During the provision of Services, the Client shall not attempt to take photographs with Personal Photography Equipment. No photography of any sort will be allowed by Client or by anyone who arrives with the Client. 

Liability Waiver

The Client agrees to hold harmless the Studio, its agents and employees in any dispute in any event where the Client and/or the Pet should become injured during the provision of Services.

Loss of Personal Belongings

The Client agrees that the Studio will not be held accountable for loss or damage of any personal property during the provision of Services.

Image Presentation Policy

  • All photos from the photoshoot will be presented to the client. 
  • The client must select all the photos that they wish to receive. 
  • Lazy Cat Studio will not be liable to preserve any selected and/or unselected photos for more than 30 days.

Digital File Policy

  • All digital files that you purchase are for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • Digital images may printed in any form for personal, non-commercial use only.
  • Cropped, altered, modified images are for personal, non-commercial use only. 
  • The client agrees not to sell the images to any individual or company.
  • The client agrees not to list them in any stock photo marketplace.

Provision of Deliverables

The Client agrees to allow up to 30 days from the date of the provision of Services for editing and delivery of all digital images.

Data Loss

In the unlikely event that data is lost or corrupted, the Studio will take reasonable steps to recover the lost data. The Studio will not be liable for any claims should they be unable to recover the lost data. The Studio will decide to either offer a reshoot at a mutually agreed time and date at the same location of the shoot or a full refund of the sum paid for the photoshoot.

Force Majeure

In the event either party is unable to perform its obligations under the terms of this Agreement because of acts of God, strikes, data loss, equipment or transmission failure or damage reasonably beyond its control, or other causes reasonably beyond its control, such party shall not be liable for damages to the other for any damages resulting from such failure to perform or otherwise from such causes.

Client’s Indemnity

The Client shall fully indemnify the Studio in the event of any loss or damage to the fixtures, fittings or any parts of the studio or any equipment, physical bodily harm to the Studio’s staff, items, property of the Studio caused by the Client, the Client’s Pet or any person accompanying the Client during the Shoot.


These Terms and Conditions incorporate the entire understanding of all parties. Any modifications will be published and shared herein. Any waiver of a breach or default hereunder shall not be deemed a waiver of a subsequent breach or default of either the same provision or any other provision. All terms & conditions will be deemed to be accepted by and binding on the Client once the Shoot is carried out even if the Client fails to sign a Portrait Agreement prior to the Shoot. Any dispute or changes will have to be made with signed amendments prior to the commencement of the Shoot.
